Video se skládá ze záběrů pořízených během mých cest, v omezeném časovém průběhu dvou týdnů, videokamerou zabudovanou v osobním automobilu. Autokamera snímá neosobní záznamy cest, které najdou využití jen v případě nehody, či nějaké mimořádné události. Po naplnění kapacity záznamového média se nahrávky nenávratně, automaticky přemažou a nahradí je nové. Rozhodla jsem se zkoumat limity tohoto nástroje (nemožnost změnit záběr, malé obrazové rozlišení) a využít je ve své práci. Kombinuji záběry, které vznikly jen jako pouhý záznam cesty s těmi, co byly pořízeny při cíleném natáčení, kdy jsem zkoumala, jakým způsobem nejlépe s limity kamery, a tedy i automobilu, pracovat. Při hledání východisek, jak dále naložit s technickými záběry z cest, pro mě byla klíčová vizualita mechanických technických záběrů a hledání nových možných významů. Vytvořila jsem krátký, absurdní příběh. Je složen se záběrů a momentů, které by jinak upadly v zapomnění. Svým výběrem, hledáním nových spojitostí a významů, se jim snažím dát novou šanci na uchování.

The video consists of footage taken during my travels, over a limited period of two weeks, with a video camera built into my car. The camcorder captures non-personal recordings of journeys, which will only find use in the event of an accident or emergency. When the capacity of the recording medium is full, the recordings are irreversibly, automatically overwritten, and replaced by new ones. I decided to explore the limitations of this tool (inability to change the shot, small image resolution) and use them in my work. I combine footage that was taken as a mere record of a journey with that taken during a focused shoot, where I explored how best to work with the limits of the camera, and therefore the car. In looking for ways to further deal with technical travel footage, the visuality of mechanical technical shots and the search for new possible meanings was key for me. I created a short, absurd story. It is composed of shots and moments that would otherwise fall into oblivion. By my selection, by searching for new connections and meanings, I try to give them a new chance to be preserved.
