Inspirací pro vytvoření těchto ručníků mi bylo osm jezer, které vznikly v rámci rekultivace hnědouhelných dolů. Každá z osušek má na sobě vyšité jméno jezera ke kterému odkazuje a její tvar je inspirován jeho půdorysem. Jejich původní funkce se tak vytrácí a každá z nich slouží už jen jako artefakt odkazující k lepším zítřkům stráveným u vodní hladiny ve stínu pravoúhle zasazených stromů.

I was inspired to create these towels by eight lakes that were created during the reclamation of brown coal mines. Each of the towels has the name of the lake it refers to embroidered on it and its shape is inspired by its layout. Their original function has thus disappeared, and each of them serves only as an artefact referring to a better tomorrow spent by the water's surface in the shade of rectangularly planted trees.
